This Privacy Notice explains how NGTAX.AI, INC., a Delaware corporation ("NGTAX.AI", "we", "us") collects, uses and discloses personal information through the website at ngtax.ai (the "Site").
Scope. This notice covers the Site only. Information that a subscribing firm submits to the NGTAX.AI platform — including client financial records and tax return information — is processed under the firm's Service Agreement, our data processing terms and applicable law, including Internal Revenue Code §7216 and the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and the Federal Trade Commission's Safeguards Rule. That information is not collected through the Site, and you should not submit it here.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you request early access or contact us, we collect your name, firm, work email address, professional role, approximate number of business returns your firm prepares, the tax software you use, and anything you choose to write in a message.
Information entered into the Tools. The calculators and checkers on the Site run in your browser. We do not transmit or store the values you enter.
Information collected automatically. Our servers record standard request information, such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and the date and time of the request, for security and operation of the Site. We do not currently use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, or third-party tracking technologies. If that changes, we will update this notice and, where required, ask for your consent first.
2. How we use information
We use personal information to: respond to your request and administer the early-access program; communicate with you about NGTAX.AI, which you may opt out of at any time; operate, secure and improve the Site; and comply with law and enforce our terms.
3. How we disclose information
We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We disclose personal information only to: service providers that host the Site or send email for us, under contracts that limit their use of it; professional advisers; a successor in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets; and authorities where required by law or to protect rights, safety and security.
4. Retention
We keep early-access information for as long as the program is active and for a reasonable period afterwards, unless you ask us to delete it sooner or law requires us to keep it longer. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security purposes.
5. Security
We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Your choices and rights
You may unsubscribe from our emails using the link in any message or by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and to appeal a decision about your request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. To make a request, contact us at the address below; we may need to verify your identity. You may use an authorized agent where the law allows.
7. Children
The Site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
8. International visitors
The Site is operated from the United States. If you access it from elsewhere, your information will be processed in the United States.
9. Changes
We may update this notice by posting a revised version with a new "Last updated" date.
